R&D 160MM WEARING FOR YAMAHA

R&D’s larger 160mm Housing with Stainless Steel liner allows for 160mm impellers set ups to reduce cavitation as well as add to top speed performance in higher horsepower applications where full blown stainless steel pumps and drive shaft kits are not in the budget. The R&D precision cast and CNC machined 160mm housing kits install easily with no modifications to the existing stock pump or driveshaft assembly. R&D offers a complete custom line of 160mm impeller pitch combinations that will keep the engine power and rpm’s in check with significantly reduced cavitation over 155mm impeller setups with big power adder parts such as Big boost Monster Wheels, ECU Upgrades, exhaust kits, and other performance modifications. R&D has the “Big Power Adders” and the perfect impeller packages to keep the power hooked up. More power along with pulling a larger diameter and taller prop equals more acceleration and top speed performance.   Pt# 132-22160 R&D 160mm Pro Series Wear Ring Housing with stainless liner

R&D BILLET ADJUSTABLE ANTI-CAVITATION CONE KIT

R&D Billet Adjustable Anti-Cavitation Cone Kit
The R&D RXP 260X Billet Adjustable Pump Cone Kit is a creative new bolt on part that adds 1 full inch of additional length over the OEM cone, and also allows an additional .400” of adjustable tuning range. The extended length allows custom rpm tuning, reduced cavitation and adds additional pump thrust. Precision tuning the pump cones length with the kit included cone spacers will add to top speed while keeping the engine rpm’s stable and out of the rev limiter. Precision CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and o-ring sealed for leak free pump bearing protection. The R&D Billet Cone kit can be ordered in 3 specific cone sets that will allow an adjustment range based on horsepower output, rpm range, and prop pitch. O-ring sealed and anodized to prevent corrosion and allow years of trouble free adjustability. Call R&D for cone kit suggestions or performance recommendations for a base kit that will offer a tuning range for your application. There are many possible tuning combinations never before possible without this unique concept. For example, RPM’s too high, add shims to reduce RPM’s. At any time if needed, additional longer cones can be ordered to allow a wider range of tuning. The R&D Cone Kit will offer more precise prop/rpm/nozzle tuning and higher top speeds over nozzle rings guaranteed.

A panel of professional judges will score them 50% for their wave surfing and 50% for their aerial maneuvers. The IJSBA, in its support for the IFWA, will award the winner of this round with the IJSBA Freeride World Cup. The infamous Oregon Pacific Coast surf will boost freeriders over 20 feet in the air while performing surf combinations featuring multiple rotation backflips, Madonna rolls, Superman backflips, inverted barrel rolls, floaters, look backs, aerial re-entries and no handed landings. The top 20 Pro, Pro Am and Amateur wave racers in the country will battle it out in this challenging Oregon shoreline break. Racers will compete in a multi-moto format of several laps through a buoy course requiring a balance of maintaining high speeds while making split second strategic maneuvers around buoys and other racers while being utterly pounded by the intense Pacific Coast surf.

This event is a weekend of non-stop surf and beach vibe action. The Freeride Qualifying will begin on Friday September 7th. Freeride competition and Motosurf racing will take place on Saturday and Sunday Sept 8th and 9th. The main events will take place Saturday and Sunday from 8am-4pm. PWC sales in USA see 5 percent growth in July, 2012

Sales of PWC have risen sharply in the past five months for Bellwether states, reaching 5 percent growth for the segment in July after plateauing at a 10 percent year-over-year decline last fall and winter, according to the latest figures from Info-Link Technologies.
Ski boats experienced similar market conditions last fall and winter, with sales down 5 percent year-over-year before increasing sharply in the past few months.
The data for all boating states, which lags five months behind the bellwether states but provides a more complete view of the market, was updated through March, with PWC sales down almost 12 percent.
The data is based on new U.S. boat registrations. Bellwether states are geographically dispersed states representing roughly half of the US boat market (which varies by market segment and time of year). Full graphs are available here: Info-Link Technologies Bellwether Report.

Mitsuhiro “Hiro” Iwamoto is a totally blind but excellent sailor who endeavors to cross the Pacific Ocean from San Diego, where he lives, to Japan, where he was born

Mitsuhiro “Hiro” Iwamoto is a totally blind but excellent sailor who endeavors to cross the Pacific Ocean from San Diego, where he lives, to Japan, where he was born. He does not chase fame but a dream to help others, especially young people who feel useless and worthless. Please lean more about Hiro and join us to support his dream!
Hiro was born with weak eyesight, became fully blind in middle school. His condition was total blindness, the complete lack of form and visual light perception and is clinically recorded as NLP, an abbreviation for "no light perception."
He faced the harsh reality of blindness during his formative teenage years and suffered through a period of fear and pain not commonly experienced by a typical teenager. However, he pulled through this tough period and began to lead a life that did not see blindness as a handicap.
He turned blindness into a good fortune by developing his other senses, especially the sense of touch and developed his career, “Shishinjutsu”, a new kind of healing therapy that blends the principles of Acupuncture with the other ancient energy healing arts. Today, he has a successful practice offering his special treatment program to clients throughout California. His life style and dream have been reported online as well as magazines.

The Event

In its Fifth proven year of success the Cronulla 2012 Rip'N Ride 5 will be held at the prime location of Wanda Beach. A huge stage for both riders and spectators has expectations for the latest, greatest and never before attempted aerial tricks at its peak. With the who’s who of local and international riders combined with the newest faces to the sport the Rip N Ride format is in a class of its own. With entry positions limited to 70 riders, this year was sold out in a record 25 hours. It is said that no other competition of its class can compete with those figures, making it a world renowned attraction.

Event History

The “Rip and Ride” was brought to life by OZFREERIDE.COM and the Cronulla Freeride Crew in 2008, with the idea of promoting our sport to Rookies entailing a fun filled day with prizes, without the added pressure of a freeride competition. The success has been the key to a bigger and better event building year after year from the inaugural Rip and Ride of an expected 25 riders we received 42, majority being males aged between 18 and 35. In, 2009 it had attracted over 60 international and local riders, 2010-11:- 67 riders and finally to today having to cap the entries at 70. Since the introduction of the Rip'N Ride, the New South Wales Freeride Association (NSWFA) has been formed as a freeride jet skiing body. Following on from that came the Victorian Freeride Association (VICFA) and Queensland Freeride Watercraft Association (QFWA) with the intention and success of hosting their own Rip'N Ride events.
